About this puzzle
Nearly all cats, including lions, tigers, and domestic cats, are descended from one prehistoric creature. The oldest known relative, the African Wildcat, first developed over 10,000 years ago. The species still exists, living in the Savannahs of the Middle East and Africa. Cats, in a unique and mutual decision, began to coexist with humans in 4000 BC, in Ancient Egypt. They ventured into towns in search of sustenance, often finding it in the form of rats in Egyptian grain stores.
